X-gal/IPTG Ready Solution is an easy-to-use, stable solution for selection of cloning constructs in all standard lacZ systems and eliminates handling hazardous DMSO or DMF. It offers time and material savings for both experienced and novice investigators. X-gal/IPTG Ready Solution is sterilized by filtration through a 0.2 micron filter. Storage at 4°C eliminates freeze-thaw cycles that reduce selection efficiency. Agar plates containing X-gal/IPTG Ready Solution are stable up to 6 months when stored protected from light at 4℃.
