Description

ZiP™ Reversible Protein Detection Kit is an inverse protein stain that offers fast and completely reversible visualization of proteins in polyacrylamide gels. ZiP™ stains the gel background opaque white while leaving clear, unstained protein bands. Once the clear bands are visualized by placing the gel on a dark background, the stain can be completely removed using a rapid destaining procedure. This kit is recommended for staining of gels to be used in downstream analysis including sequencing, mass spectrometry, or Western blotting. Kit includes Stain Solution, 10×, 250 mL, Restore Solution, 10×, 250 mL, Developer Solution, 10×, 250 mL, Equilibration Solution, 10×, 250 mL. The kit contains sufficient reagents to stain up to 50 mini-gels.
